Baby chick with hurt leg

Ok. Thunderstorms right now and chicks are in shed outside. Will try to get out there and post pic as soon as I can. That said, here is a pic I took last night. Not great but does show legs. Will get a better one. Sorry for heat lamp lighting.

This leg appears to be bent. I didn't notice bump last night. Someone had told me to straighten it as best I can and tape it. Then watch it for a few days. I was examining it again earlier tonight when we noticed the bump. Hoping it didn't suffer a compound fracture or something and it's now become infected.
