When is it safe to put mother hen and chick in with roo and other hens

At about 6 weeks old, if they are all healthy.

Best to do it after the chicks are all up and running around well, but before they are 2 weeks old, if you have plenty of room in the coop and run. (that's when her broody hormones are strongest, and she is most likely to defend her babies well. She will take care of integration.) Give the hen a safe place in the coop to take her chicks to bed at night.
