Can I do anything for the chick? What should I do? It is still breathing!

So normally I let my hens raise their chicks but when I came home from school (about 15 minutes ago) and checked on the chicks I found 7 of the chicks pecking at this baby.

I'm not sure if this is because the babies who are up in a nest box can't get down to access food. The mum was busy on the ground looking after three chicks who had jumped from the box (all chicks have been now moved to the ground with mum)

The chick in the egg is still breathing & I'm wondering what i should do. Do i just get it out of the egg? Do i leave it? HELP ME PLEASE I'M FREAKING OUT.

Right now it is under a heat light and in straw. It is the best set up i could do in about 1 minute considering i have never had to incubate etc a chick

ANY ADVICE APPRECIATED

I'm so sorry to hear/ read this, its so sad :( you never remove the egg shell. it just complicates this and the process. even though I don't understand why it just does and ive seen many chicks pass like this

If it makes you feel better the chick would have died anyway. In the last 3 days before hatch the egg need to be at 75% humidity to properly hydrate the membrane between the chick and the shell. Without the proper humidity the membrane gets too dry an the chick can't hatch. Thats why after a chick pips it is important for the hatch to happen within the next 24 hours. Even in a temp controlled environment the membrane can dry out. I've lost a few during incubation this way.
