What can you do for a chicken with a broken leg its just a baby and I hate watching her drag it behind she tries so hard to get around. I just wish I could fix it for her. Any suggestions.

You can make a splint out of popsicle sticks. Make sure there are no sharp edges, check her leg after 2 weeks, they heal very fast. Make sure she is eating and drinking.

I had a chick that had broken her toe. I used matchsticks (with the striker end removed) and steri-strips to hold it on. The toe was back to it's normal position and she walked on it with no problems. My husband laughed at me but it worked!

Great idea,i never thought of matchsticks. So much smaller for the little ones.

It would probably be good to wrap a tiny bit of cushioning around her leg when you put the matchstick(s) on, if you can do so & still keep the connection strong without taping too tight. Cushioning will help minimize chafing, bruising & over-restriction of circulation.
Band-aids & sports tape make good adhesive for splints. Be sure to carefully adjust them every couple days since your chick's leg will be growing so fast.
