my baby chick, 3 weeks, was hatched a day later than her two siblings. i didn’t think she would even hatch initially because our mother hen is small and sometimes didn’t sit on her egg all the way. she did end up hatching and seemed healthy. all of the sudden the baby is VERY lethargic. she eats, not much, but she eats and drinks. today she took a bite of banana and then fell asleep with it in her mouth. she’s very weak and sleepy all the time. no poopy butt. she’s lethargic but still very vocal. what's going on??

Is she keeping up with the rest of them? She might be cold if she can't get under mom to warm up. If you have a brooder with heat, perhaps try 95F for a day or two and see if it appears to thrive a little better.

You could also try feeding her a little bit of raw egg yolk with a couple of drops of honey in it. Sometimes that helps perk up a weaker chick.

I'd also make a mash out of their chick crumbles as sometimes they go for that rather than the dry.
