Hi-- I newly have chicks for the first time and noticed a difference in their droppings lately. My chicks are now 18 days old. From what I have read, I am assuming these are cecal poops. At what age do chicks start cecal poops?
Thanks---

Take a photo of the poop you are worried about and post it. We can tell you if it's normal.

But usually, chick poop looks a lot like wild bird poop, small and dry, with the occasional rusty brown to chocolate brown cecal, "pudding poop".

Poop that is mostly water isn't good. If it has blood in it, it's doubly not good.
