A few of them have what looks like bloodstains but it didn't clean off. I can't find any injuries. But one with the most red under the chin is also slightly lethargic. Gave some honey water and will keep an eye out.

Good luck with them. Are you providing a heat source?

The hatchery may have marked them to tell different breeds apart. Some hatcheries do, some don't.

That's what conclusion I came to my two extras that are most likely roos has red chin I did ask for Australorp roos if they were sending and packing peanuts. Possible barred rock rooster maybe one is a lot lighter I was like why is this one blue. I will check them out more tomorrow they are sound asleep. I did get pullets so hoping for the best I'll check them out more tomorrow and try to look at wings.

So I lost one chick today. Big distended belly and started throwing up foam. I noticed last night it wouldn't sleep with the other chicks it was just standing wobbly the whole time. It's belly was so big I had to raise the water for it to drink and it ended up passing just an hour later anyways. It wasn't pooping either I'm not even sure it was eating or drinking but it's stomach was so big it was almost bald and I could see veins through the skin. Poor baby. Looking back on the videos I took it was always standing there right outside the light ring swaying. Less than a full 48 hours of life at least it got cuddles.

The other seem to be doing great I had a few pasty butts this morning but my brooder was very warm last night. They are all zipping around and eating non stop when they aren't asleep now. I think tomorrow I may let them get some sunshine.
