baby chicks leaving mother hen

Our four baby chicks were born Apr. 29th..can the mother hen be placed separately from them now or should they stay together longer?

I'm not sure, I usually let the mother hen decide when she wants to get rid of her chicks. It often varies. My Gold laced bantam hen last year kept her babies by her for 3 months and a half!!!! Then they finally got tired of her and left
