How many would I need for say 10-11 chickens? You are right about those nipples, after going through the reviews I noticed that the newest ones say they're garbage

Yeah the "you get what you pay for" is usually correct. I have 2 for 18 chicks, so proably one, but I think they come 2 for $6. When they get older you would want 2 anyways.
