Hey everyone.
I am currently on clutch #2 of bantam chickens. WE have decided to let our chickens reproduce again after an incident with our lat clutch. But something seems off with this round. 2 of our chicks have been having issues with surviving past day 3 and when we intervene and do what we can to help there is nothing else we can really do and it is getting frustrating. Right now we have a day old bantam inside with us. We are making sure it stays warm with a heat lamp, we have food and water for it even though we know that they don't need it for the first 2 or 3 days. We are doing everything by the book. But it still seems weak and its' feet seem a little too big for a baby chicken. It is causing the chick to have some balance issues and unable to walk or stand. I really just need someone's help to make sure this chick will survive.
Thanks in advance!
