Ok yall. This is our first time with chicks. We hatched 4 of 6 eggs with a broody hen. We lost one a few weeks ago it always seemed a little behind the others. The other 3 have been doing fine until Sunday. Sunday afternoon I put the chicks (about a month old) on the floor of the run with the cage with food and water. Sunday evening I went to put the chicks away and I found one of them on its back in the run (I thought it was dead thanks it was not) I picked it up and showed it the water then it hobbled to our broody. Today same drill. And again found it on its back. What is wrong with? Any help is appreciated.

I've hatched and raised a lot of chicks and had a couple that have done that. I just put vitamins in their water every other day for a week in case it was some vitamin deficiency. It stopped it each time so maybe it was. We use Poultry Cell usually...sometimes Nutri-Drench. It'd give a little boost to the hen too!
