Baby chicks

Hello,
I am raising 7 baby chicks, one died last night after being very lethargic and not eating anything except sugar water. Another is also lethargic and will not move, eat or drink, except for sugar water.
please help, I want this little girl to survive!

Check their butts for pasty butt- matted poo stuck to their feathers. It blocks their vent so they can’t poop! If they’re poopy- gently soften it with a warm damp cotton ball to clean it off.

Also, regardless of the butt situation, I would recommend a drop of poultry nutra-drench. I had a wobbly 4 day old that couldn’t stand and I gave it a drop and it took a while but she regained her strength and is fine now! I got mine at TSC.
