Baby chicks

I bought starter feed for them. I was just told that they look like game birds and that they are hens

You should provide chick starter feed for them they are too young for anything else. Just because it says “chick starter” doesn’t mean only baby chickens can eat it. When they get older they would enjoy the seeds and grains but right now it’s not good for them.
Think of a baby human. The food has to be “baby” food to start with. Chick starter is like baby formula especially made for their digestive system and ALL their nutritional needs. What your giving now is for much older birds who’s systems can handle it.

Could be some game in them, but you really can't say for sure. Other breeds have that chipmunk pattern as well. They do look like girls, but again, not knowing what they are, you can't say for certain. A pic of my spangled game chicks. One boy in there I think. 2 different breeds.
