That heat lamp is way too close to your wall and that wooden cabinet or whatever it is attached too. You will burn your house down if you keep it like that.

yeah i turned it off but that’s the only light source i have for them unless i put them back in the heating incubator for tonight and my father is goin to buy a metal tote for them tomorrow

I would recommend a heat plate rather than a metal tub. Metal will radiate heat back in, and that will really overheat the chicks. The tote isn't the big problem. The bulb being too hot is.
