They will need to stay under the heat lamp until they have grown feathers to keep themselves warm. It really depends on the breeds for the time of fully feathering. But I would say generally it takes them 3-4 weeks ti feather out. As to getting them outside, you could bring them out on a warm day if you really want to, but never leave them out there for the night without them feathering out!

thank you! I have ameraucanas (probably easter eggers), barred rock, buff orpington, black sex link, and soon will have rhode island red, gold laced wyandotte, and sussex
 
Nice variety there! Yeah, they should do fine out doors once they have their feathers
