Not sure if we have saline but I'll check now. I haven't tried to see it could eat yet but I believe it can because I'm holding it right now and it's acting completely normal (even trying to escape part of the time). We do have triple antibiotic ointment and I will check if we have saline now.....Wipe out the wound with saline or chlorhexidine, then apply triple antibiotic ointment to the wound.
Keep her separated out so the others don't pick at her.
Is she able to eat and drink?
I will double check in a moment but I don't believe we have saline. I will see if I can make a homemade mix later (will this work: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/323842#instructions) but at the moment I am unable. Will a bit of spring water of a baby wipe work for now? Do you think it will live? Thank you very much for you time. Not sure if we have saline but I'll check now. The bleeding has for the most part stopped. I carefully wiped the wound with damp toilet paper and then with my finger applied the triple antibacterial to the wound. It is also eating (see pictures, sorry for the bad quality). Is there anything else I should do? Thank you both very much for your valuable information and time.Just use water, until you make some saline later, and then apply the Neosporin. Saline is 2 tsp of table salt dissolved in 1 quart/liter of water. To make it sterile, heat it for about 15 minutes at a simmer. Has the bleeding stopped? Some pressure with a finger for 2-3 minutes can help stop bleeding. She is so small, so be careful holding pressure on her neck to not hurt her or prevent breathing.
