baby delemma

[Gray Farms]

They can stay on for a long time. All three of my females that hatched are still setting on empty nests. One has been on an empty nest for over two weeks now.

Wow I want to get in there and clean a little but Fred is so aggressive now he gets all of the others crazy . Ethel still has eggs did you take the unhatched eggs away. they were so cute this mourning the babies were on her back snuggled in her back feathers. I am going home today and baby proofing the larger pen . so they can have a little out time.

Ya about 2-3 days after the goslings hatch I check the un-hatched egg. I just shake them gently and listen for the slopping around noises. Then I chuck them to the ditch.

Sorry for all the post my computer is awful it would not post the reply . this is a work computer they wont upgrade it is still window 7. I weed eater and let them out for awhile they all were so cute then they went back to the nest I am having a lot a fun studying them. the babies are a lot tougher then I thought.
