Baby duck bad eye…

A loan baby duck we have in its own box in the garage. And for some reason it’s eye is all of a sudden watery and pussy. Doesn’t seem like he can even see out of it. What in the world? Think this is a Muscovy. We just noticed this 2 days ago. It’s always wet.

My daughter also said it’s eye is flat.

Could the duckling have injured its eye on something? Terramycin eye ointment is an antibiotic for eye infections. TSC or other feed stores might carry it. Also giving the little duckling a mirror so it can see another duckling will help with stress and loneliness.

We do have it next to a rabbit cage. And if we remove the rabbit she cries
