Update, I only had to drain Todd once today in the afternoon. She holds so still. It must feel good to have that bump go down. Right now her head looks normal for the first time since she came out of the shell, so we are definitely making progress. I don't know why my vet has gone AWOL. But I think with perseverance, I might get her fixed. She is playing eating and pooping and doing all manner of ducky things.

It was good first thing. She looked normal, but I just went to check her and it's swelling again.

My gosh did you start the antibiotics. Maybe a day or more on them along with draining would help.

I didnt, I'm going to do that today. I thought I would follow Isaacs suggestion and mix with a little oil and drop along side her bill. I have some stone work going on in the house, so late this afternoon we will play operation and see if you can dose the duck.

She was biting me so I was able to get a drop under her tongue. So went well. Need to dose her this morning again.

That's great, dosing won't be that hard since its only 0.125ml. Did the Amoxi mix pretty well in with the water?

I used oil. I thought that might be more palatable. She didn't hate it.
