Baby duck losing down.

I have four newly hatched 12 day old runner ducklings. We introduced them to water today in a small tub. When we were drying them off I noticed one has a spot under her bill on her neck about the size of a dime with no down. It doesn't look irritated yet but I have no idea what could cause it or what if anything I should do about it. Any help would be appreciated.

It may have been rubbed off doing what ducks do or may be born this way . I have seen bald spots on my duckling from time to time . But they all turn out fine .

That's kind of what we were thinking given the way she likes to lay next to the waterer with her head hanging over the edge. This only our third hatch and we haven't seen it before. Other than the bald spot she's pure baby duck.
