Baby duck, still no progress!

Okay, she got out and the yolk is still out a tiny tiny bit. I put her back in her shell gently, put her in a cup with a warm, wet paper towel and I'm misting her yolk with warm water ever hour to keep it from drying out.

Definitely don't use wet. It needs to absorb dry. Leave it alone for another 24 hours. It may survive and it may not. Zero feed or water till it becomes stronger. I'm working on one right now myself.

Okay I'll switch her paper towel to a dry one when my baby is done with his bottle

Thank you so much. I hope she makes it. I'm so worried about her. My other one died the day before hatch. Im trying to help her as much as I can.
Time and rest. They don't need feed or water when absorbing the yolk. They need dryness and warmth. Don't put nothing on the belly and just keep waiting.
I definitely understand but time is all it will need if it's going to survive...:hugs....Best wishes to both of us...:frow
