Baby duck with baby chicks????

I bought my wife a baby Rouen today can I keep it with my day old peeps as it was hatched the same day from the same hatchery????

I have! I learned though to separate them when they get older(around a month to a month and a half)

Thanks I know ducks and chickens can get diseases from one another when they are full grown but was unsure about chicks thank you

Actually my reason for separating has nothing to do with disease(though that is a very good reason!) I raised a duck and some chicks together and once they got older the duck tried to "punish" the chicks for being to greedy and she accidentaly drowned them in the water bowel! Like I said though Great when they are young! Good Luck To You!
