UPDATE: THE BABY DUCKLING PASSED AWAY!!

Hi all. I just ordered me some baby ducklings and I just received them yesterday March 18th. Well I noticed this one little fella seems to be a little weak? And has slayed legs. It does move around and eat and drink just fine but it’s legs go apart and it just seems weak to me. It’s the smallest one so I think it’s the runt. What can I do to help the poor thing before it gets worse.

I have already gave it today March 19th some sugar water like I read. And also some plain warm yogurt. My boyfriend tried helping me wrap its legs up to try to be closer together but it just kept falling over and would lay there and peep and I couldn’t stand seeing it lay there so I took the stuff off and figured I wait till it gets some kind of strength or a little bigger. He or she is just so tiny I don’t want to hurt it.

I’ll attach some pictures below...

Sorry to hear about your duckling.
As a start, you could pick up a poultry vitamin, and try dripping a few drops along the duckling's bill. During administration, caution must be placed on ensuring the duckling does not aspirate the liquid. Mashed scrambled eggs may offer some needed protein.

Here is some information on correcting the leg splaying:

Thank you!! Unfortunately when I got back home it was dead..
