Baby duckling

Hi, my baby duckling hatch in the incubator 24 hours ago it is eating pellets and drinking water but is it normal for it to not be able to hold itself up and walk at the same time? (just keeps flopping over)

By pellets I do hope you mean chick/duckling starter not laying or adult pellets.

My babies didn't walk and eat very good in the beginning either. Make sure you are adding some niacin to their water to help their legs grow strong.

Ducklings can't eat pellets very well you need a crumble for ducklings.

Ducks are like us. When we are babies, we can't walk without falling down until we are 1!

His doing really well his up and about now, and yes I mean starter not adult pellets
