I set 3 eggs on 2nd june 2 cayuga and 1 runner duck. Two little ones pipped their air sacks on day 22 and on day 23 one of the cayugas pipped through the wrong end of the egg and got very distressed managed to help it hatch by keeping the membrane moist but the yolk had not absorbed and the poor little one was very weak.
I kept him wrapped in damp cloth and gave sugar water hourly for three days to keep him hydrated. This morning the yolk has absorbed and little Crispy seems 100% better than before
