Baby goats arrived last night!

Last night just before nine, these little guys came into the world. Dam is my Yellow Rose doe, Sire is a Double Durango buck. One doeling, one buckling. They have the most amazing colouring... I couldn't be happier!! My first babies at home!!

These are Major Coco! I am so happy with them. I am retaining the doe, sorry!!

I may have to sell the buckling though, he's related to just about every doe in my herd and he's too good to wether. Shame because he's so cute and every time I go in the pen he comes and climbs in my lap!

Yes, Karat is the proud Mommy, and what an excellent Mommy she is. She had those babies cleaned and fluffed up in record time. She seems REALLY pleased with herself this morning!

She should be a proud mom! And you can gloat a little, I don't think they've gotten many doe kids from that buck...
