baby in swing

Is this your first baby?

I let mine sleep wherever the little devil would fall asleep. Half the time it on his blanket outside when we were having a BBQ.

Swings were a such a help with my babies!! It was wonderful in getting them to sleep and once they were alseep...I wouldn't dare touch them or move them.

Both of my kids slept in the swing all the time when they were small enough to fit. So I don't think you have anything to worry about.

yes, first baby (and last) but have several neices and nephews that are all grown that i helped with. just want to know we are doing the right stuff w/ her. i know i will never get a second chance and don't want to do the wrong thing.i just remember reading somewhere that someone left their baby in the carrier so much the back of the baby's head was getting shaped flat.......

The flat head thing can happen wether they are in a swing carrier laying in the crib etc. I haven't heard of it happening often though. You will see them go bald on the back of the head though! LOL! My oldest was bald anyway for what seemed like forever! My youngest was born with a full head of hair but went bald on the back of her head from her head laying on what ever she laid on. When she started to sit up and didn't have her head down as much her hair started growing back. It's kinda like if you whear your rair in a pony tail all the time 24/7 you start to loose the hair where the rubber band sets. I wouldn't worry about the flat head thing.
