I have not been collecting my eggs, and surpise in my coop were 4 babies.....(must have hatched that day)....they were with the mom so I let them be.after 2 days, I went in and noticed that 2 were huddled alone and shivering, but the other 2 were tucked up under the moms wings, so I brought the 2 cold ones in and put them in a big tub with the heat lamp, and chick feed and water. The silkie baby is laying flat and looks very sleepy, Should I just keep her comfy? hope she gets better..the other one is fine

Well if they just hatched today i would imagine it is just tired and worn out from the hatching. The hatching takes alot of energy from the chick. Just keep her warm and always make sure there is fresh water and food available at all times. She will probably be fine. Also since they have just hatched you can give them warm water instead of cool. It will help them if they are shivvering cause it will warm them inside - out.

As for the sleepy one. Just watch her, she should be fine. Try giving her a bit of sugar water, dip her beak to make sure she drinks a little.
