Hello! I have three Polish roosters that were gifted to me.

The one that does not have the best head feathering I believe is a candy corn. Not sure on the other two colors but I believe they are good quality. I think one’s a silver and the lighter candy corn ish color I’m not sure- please tell me if you know.

Anyway I’m thinking I need to rehome the one that looks less than ideal.

Can I get hens that will work with the silver and the lighter colored rooster in the same pen? What colors would they be?

TYIA!!!

One is definitely Silver (or Silver Laced, two ways to refer to the same color).
The other one may be Candy Corn, but I'm not good at recognizing them.

Because Silver Laced Polish are pretty common, I might try getting some of them.

If you get Silver Laced hens, you can get Silver Laced chicks from him.
From the other rooster, if you use Silver Laced hens, you should get sons that look sort-of Silver Laced (they will probably have leakage of other colors as they grow older), and daughters that are either Silver Laced or Gold Laced (maybe just one, maybe some of each: I'm having a bit of trouble deciding what's going on genetically with that rooster.)

Edit to add: oh, I just realized that other rooster probably has the barring gene. In that case, with Silver Laced hens, he should give sons that look like messy Silver Laced (white bars across the lacing pattern, chance of other-color leakage as they grow), and daughters that look quite a bit like himself (gold laced with white bars across the lacing.)
