I have saved one that was pretty bad off.
I took a vitamin E liquid gel capsule for adult humans, cut off one end and dipped the baby''s beak in the liquid. I did that twice or 3 times the first day, by next morning it could eat and drink with help, and I continued the vitamin 2 times that day, and 2 times the next. Then it was fine.
With a duck, I would make sure to also give it some B vitamins. If you don't have that in liquid form, powder up a pill, and get just a bit of the powder in the bill, wash it down with a drop of water.
Try to get it to eat and drink with you fully supporting the head and helping.
YeahSomeone else mentioned Vitamin E.. It was too late BTW I heard that...then I forgot....I will try to remember.
I just have never gotten that nutridrench.Sounds like wry neck.... Nutridrench Poultry vitamins straight 3x's per day for a start is what I would use... then definitely Alaskans recommendations...
