could they have eaten something that has impacted their crop? what kind of bedding are you using? and so sorry for your loss. their crop is on the left side of their chest and appears swollen when they have eaten a lot.

been using straw for bedding. I just went home and checked on them and they seem to by fine, not sluggish like they were this morning. any advice on what to do?

Are you keeping food and water out 24/7? very important they have both and other than making sure they have clean brooder and warmth how warm is it in your brooder, to high temps can kill ducklings too. At 2 weeks temps should be between 75-80* are you feeding chick starter or duckling?

yes food and water out all the time, and just switched form gamebird starter to unmedicated duck starter so Im wondering if that had something to do with it, but surely not in less than 24 hours?

it's so hard to say, Hopefully the 2 that are left will be fine. Did you check and make sure food isn't moldy? maybe pick up some poultry vitamins to add to their water. Wish I could help more.

my ducklings chest did that when they ate too much. They would throw up on me when I would pick them up because I would accidently squeeze their crop.

Thanks everyone, I just went and checked on them and they seem to be doing better but I will go get some poultry vitamins. Any suggestions?

I like Poultry Nutri Drench but there are others out there too, your feed store or TSC will have them most likely, Please update on them when you can.
