Baby quail hatched itself too early???

I hope that one makes it. I have had one that was a bit early, but the yolk was yellow, not red like that. I would keep a close eye on that chick. If it starts to fail, you may need to cull.

I hope it turns out okay!
Thanks and me too. Aldo i heard people say cull. What does that mean???

Hope he pulls thru xxx mine hatched today also my first time with quail im at 32 eggs out of 38 so far they all doing well 🤞🤞even the one *playing dead* lol x

Has the size of that thing gone down at all? If it's yolk, it should be shrinking.

If it hasn't been absorbed or significantly reduced in size by morning, that's probably when I would decide to cull. I decide to cull when I realize that it's not going to have any kind of life or if it's suffering. I hate culling chicks, but it's better than letting it suffer.

I don't think so but I'll wait until morning and thanks for the advice. I really don't want to cull but i don't want it to suffer.
