Baby quail lighting?

I picked up 14 1 to 3 day old quail and 5 2 weeks old quail today I have a heat lamp but has no lighting. I've read about blue and red inferred light I believe I should get the red. Has anyone tried just a heat lamp with no lighting? Should I definitely invest in a red inferred heat lamp?

A heat lamp is a good investment anytime that you are raising animals.
