Baby rat or baby mouse.

Think of him like a puppy. They want contact and touch. Even while letting a puppy, they will still paw you and if you stop petting, they will paw harder for attention.
Ok, I'm trying to get some female mice so he's not so lonely, as well as trying to find a vet that will neuter him so I don't have 1000 baby mice.

I can't speak for mice, but my experience with rats says to get more males instead. My personal experience has been that male rats are way more laid back than females. That's rats, though. I'd suggest reading up on mice like crazy as there is probably as much to know about them as there is chickens. I also would not put him in with females until he is neutered. I bought a 2 month old female rat that turned into the cheapest rats I've ever paid for when you figure in all 9 of her babies. They sexually mature quickly.
