Baby Rooster Malled by a racoon, has a big green round bulb, see pic.

I have a small white rooster that was malled about three days ago while I was out of town. The racoon killed three birds and four survived. The rooster has missing feathers under his wing and a big green bulb like thing under there as well. Do I need to do anythig or will this go away??? Please help.. Thank you.

Since it's not a normal occurance, I think I'd lance/pin prick the greenish item and see if it decreases in size.... there's a word for that particular treatment but it escapes me as I write.

Ok, looking at it closer it may be very bruised and enlarged from the bruise, is there anything I can give him to help him heal better??

my rooster also had his tail feathers pulled out by racoon and and has a green bulb of infection above his tail area what did you do!

I read somewhere that you can use neosporin on chickens. maybe you could try that...see if that does anything! Good luck!
