LOL. The three of ours that did that most consistently did, indeed, grow up to be snoody fellows (not 100% effective sexing method - but it turned out that way, here).

We got a couple of week old Royal palms strutting. They started in at 3 days old. They are really cool to watch trying to strut their stuff when they have barely learned to walk.
