I posted this here because i was just stating how flipping cute they are and now I want one lol

They had a whole bunch of baby turkeys when I went to get feed yesterday.
Unlike baby chickens they do not run from you they run right over and check you out let you hold them . I put my hand in the bin and they all ran over to check out my hands

They were already all sold as they were orders. I kept playing with them my bf goes they are all sold too bad (he likes to pick on me for my poultry obsession)
I said doesnt mean I.cant give them all love lol

I had a hard time getting myself to stop
Lucky I dont have a big enough coop for all my chickens and a Turkey lol

I would not recommend keeping turkeys with chickens. I've had young males kill a rooster, and my adult female turkeys will chase and harass my chickens when out of their pen at times.

Poults are definitely different than chicks, but they grow up to be in your business, so be careful falling for those cute poults. They can grow into loud obnoxious thugs. :)

That is actually really good to know I had no idea

Turkeys can be fun, but they are definitely a different kind of bird. Most people usually end up liking them. I like mine, but they are perpetual kindergarteners. They like to come up with their own ideas and that's that. They can be determined birds who you will enjoy or they will frustrate you. Mine do both. :)
