Babys are born....Yikes!

Thank you to this board for helping me with all my silly questions on raising these ducks!

The duck are born and there are 5 that look like the mom (Swedish Hen) and 7 that look like dad (Peking Drake), is that a way to tell male vs female?

Congrats with your ducklings! There could be a slight plumage difference in genders because they are a cross. But, I would wait until they are older to be sure. Then you could tell by their voice and plumage.

Unless if you need to know right away.
