Baby's Batch!

Our baby is due around the 23rd to 27th March so I thought it would be a cute idea to hatch some chicks at the same time. (Also a good way to make our lives even harder )

I will be hatching more coturnix quail to grow our flock and have set them today (6th March). All from the same supplier who sent them via one-day delivery. The eggs are all 4 or 5 days old and have been sitting for around 40 hours tip down. (Box was damaged but no eggs even had a single crack. Impressed)



I will be doing a dry hatch until lockdown so humidty will be around 29-32% as this has worked well for me previously. This will be our first time using our Lumia too. I will try to post daily-ish updates here!



We have 64 eggs in our Borotto Lumia 16.



We have 20 eggs in our Janoel12.
