We have a little chick about two months old and it was a leg that it tries to use but most of the time drags it. Tried to set it right but think I was a little to late because this little chick was with three others and didnt notice until husband removed the three from the cage last month.turned it wrapped it but some how got the leg turn again but was able to stand and hope. Took the wrap off and now the little chick cant walk but tries. We wont put it down husband loves his birds. I am Babys Bird Friends owner for over 24 years now I rescue unwanted feathered friends over two years my first grandson hatched two eggs at school a school project and he got to keep it.: so this is how my husband got into chickens and we rescued two ducks from a so called friend because their big puppy kept hurting them. Husband wanted four more so bought one male and three females and then our first two laid eggs and so hatched them because the moma duck didnt want to set on them at first so we took them.we have six in all now of ducks and alot of chicks. About .sixty.ducks and chickens are his and the other birds are mine.
