I was going to guess some large breed of quail.... They look too small to be guineas.

Yep! Guinea fowl babies are called keets instead of chicks. You basically raise them the same as a chick, however they should be fed gamebird starter feed instead of standard chick feed. They need the higher protien. Just like with chicks, watch for pasty butt. I raised 24 of them all successfully, but one came to me with pasty butt and would have died had I not noticed. Handle it often to try to keep it from being too skittish! They sure are cute and fun.
