We're fencing in our pond to add geese. Since we do not want eggs, meat or babies, we are considering a bachelor pond (males only).

Our chicken hens range out of site of the pond and the pond will be fenced to keep the geese at the pond. We don't have any female geese either.

Should we expect any issues with a bachelor pond of ganders? How about if we add in male only ducks?

There is a possibility that the ganders and/or drakes will try to breed one another on the pond resulting in inadvertent drownings. 'Swimming water' seems to act as an aphrodisiac to waterfowl.

You’ll get squabbles during breeding season, can’t really prevent that, but ganders often form tight bonds with other ganders with or without females present so it will work out.

Keep an eye out for bullies however, if there’s a pair that are extra mean and singling a particular gander out that can turn bad. In most cases it’s fine so long as there’s enough space for everyone to escape or avoid each other if needed.
