Hi y'all from the south western part of beautiful, pastoral Virginia. My wife and I moved here almost two years ago all the way from California! Our goal is to become more self sufficient by raising our own livestock and growing our own vegetables. Clara dog came with us, and the family was blessed with the arrival of our wonderful baby girl last October. We have dubbed our farm 'Clara's Acres' and are raising our first flock of birds this summer.
Our layers are about 15 weeks old. I understand we should expect some eggs before too long. Our birds free range during the day and are couped at night. I've built some nest boxes and would like some advice on how to convince my birds that they should use them.
