Thank you...she was our only chicken - a young Silkie, we had a rooster too, but had to re-home him back to the breeder, before this happened...we were looking for a friend to keep her company at the time...miss them bothSorry for your loss Susannah![]()

You live in Australia? So I can see how snakes are a problem for you. Here in the northern US, our chickens eat the snakes.Thank you, it is...Henny was so gentle and had no-way of defending herself, I thought she would be safe...I didn't know minks were in US, until being on this forum...I knew nothing about them...foxes are an introduced species here in Australia, the only other problem we're I am, are snakes and I loathe them...
