It’s been so long since I’ve had day old chicks! They are so adorable and sweet. I was reminded pretty quickly how different they all are. We have one that is quite the loud mouth unless being cuddled or sees me standing next to the box lol

There is always a screamer in every batch of babies, one that needs your undivided attention 24/7. They usually turn out to be the sweetest however.

Yes gosh she will not shush… but it’s cute that my boyfriend who’s never had chickens before us cuddling her too LOL. Spoiling her already.

Hello there all,

I am so happy and excited to be able to say I got 6 chicks today from Tractor Supply and these are the first chickens I’ve had since 5 years ago!
I grew up on a farm so although I’ve done it all in the past, I absolutely will need refreshers as I get back in the groove.
I got 3 assorted bantams. One golden comet, one white leghorn and one I cannot recall the name of to be honest.
All the EE’s were sadly gone from both local TS.. that is what I was looking for.
Here’s a pic of them snuggling my hand on the ride home
