Also, try not to worry too much if your hen's appetite is off for awhile. Like humans, it's fairly normal for chickens to get skinny with an illness. Chickens can go quite a long time without eating and be okay as long as they are drinking.

She seemed to like the scrambled eggs, although she only ate about half an egg.

My sweet little girl seems to be doing well on the scrambled egg diet. She's happy and energetic. She even purred on my lap the other day.

Im very happy to hear that and see her perky and alert you’re doing so great with her. Just have her chicken feed available at all times, even if she doesn’t eat it. Eventually she may surprise you and become interested in it.

Her head is healing well. It looks like some of the scabs are flaking off, but I don't see any signs of infection. She's also been eating her chicken food pretty well.

Aww she’s becoming quite the lap chicken. I see new pink tissue underneath the scabs that have sloughed away; you can expect the scabs to slough off as the healthy tissue forms. You’re doing great thanks for keeping us updated, it’s wonderful to see her progress.
