He's so enthusiastic that he's coming up with new plans for a 2-3 chicken tractor. Even I am getting into it. We have two of these really nice dog houses that I think I can put on wheels and attach a run to the front. I know. Not really building so much as recycling but just about my speed.

Tractors are a lot of fun to build and even more fun for creative people.
Since they are smaller than a coop you can finish some designs in a
weekend and the material costs are low too.

My next tractor will be PVC.

My hubby does really super nice work but he is NOT enthusiastic at all! LOL I did get an 8x8 Very nice coop with electrical ran to it and an indoor Serama coop so far. I want a bantam coop and another big coop yet

As with any structure it would depend on how it is put together. Most importantly
would be the screening material used and how it is held down. PVC is incredibly
strong for it's weight.

With any tractor or coop the dogs will attempt to rip the hardware cloth, dig under
it, or flip it over.

Racoons and weasels scare me a lot more than dogs do.
