Hi, I'm Angel. We got our first chickens 5 years ago and that's when we joined BYC. We have a sweet rooster, one grown hen and 10 chicks right now. It had just been the rooster and hen for the last year or so because we lost many chickens and two bunnies in one year. I didn't think my heart could take losing more animals so we decided we were done adding to our little flock. Then over the winter, we rescued a feral cat who showed up in our garage and that opened the door and our hearts to more animals. We now have 3 cats, 2 dogs and 12 chickens for 3 people. We dreamed of horses and goats when we moved to our current home almost 4 years ago, so maybe that will happen too?
