back saddle

I have a hen that is being abused by the roster. She has a bare spot and I need the post for back saddle. She had this problem in the summer before i got rid of our excess rosters she was healing well but this AM when I let the chicks out she had poo on her back and when I cleaned it off she had the big bare spot again. the skin is not broken just red I put ointment on her dried her off as best I could and put her in a pen by her self. It is cold in Mi. she won't catch cold from the small damp spot on her back, will she? maybe I should bring her back in till she is completely dry. the saddle I am looking for was made out of some kind of duct tape.
