Hello! Once again I'm a chicken owner! I had chickens as a teenager almost 40 years ago! Loved them. Then after I got married, I had my brother build me a coop, and once again enjoyed the hobby! I've done meat birds and various breeds of egg layers over the years. Then we moved and I didn't have any for about 4 years. This spring I finally jumped back in and got some partridge chantecler chicks. New breed to me but it sounded nice for the cold climate that I'm in. I was hoping to raise some chicks and keep my little flock going on my little property. But that might mean some more coop building! (Yes i do have the original coop my brother built! It moved along with me!) I'd really like to make this breed as hardy and great as the original! But that's a discussion for a different thread!
